Green Kitchen
What the client needed
The client approached us wanting to freshen up her outdated kitchen with a country kitchen. She had a good idea of what she envisioned, therefore making the design process move quickly. The focus was to create a stunning country style space that felt open. Rather than trying to get as much storage as possible.
Our part of the project
We created a layout the client was happy with and looked at finishes. Going towards a dark timber to contrast the flooring and give it a rustic country look. the shaker style doors was an obvious choice for the modern country texture. Steering away from a simple white and choosing a natural green colour brought in liveliness.
Opting for open shelves over overhead cabinets bring more of the rustic county look; also more interest in the space. Additionally, being able to dress it up with personal items gives a homely feel.
