Country Kitchen

What the client needed

The client had bought a beautiful old cottage with a kitchen that consisted of a sink and cooker. She came to us wanting a new kitchen that would tie in well with her house, but not be the same as everyone else’s kitchens she has seen.

Our part of the project

She had a look through our showroom and chose one of the many hand routed door designs we make. We talked her through the design and colour concepts to create a kitchen that would work well with her space and style. Because of where the sink was we changed the design to best get around it without spending the money on moving the plumbing. To gain the most bench space we dropped the width down one side. this way she could still stand at the sink comfortably and have plenty of space to cook up a storm.

Additional work

In the end she was beyond happy with what we had done for her. She got us to also refurbish an old table of hers to sit nicely in the middle for her grand kids to sit around when they visited. We also repaint and replace the top of a side board to tie it in with the kitchen.
